Back in college, bubble teas were the thing. I assume that most people know what these are … but if not, they’re those smoothie-like drinks with the tapioca pearls in them. In fact, we actually have a bubble tea recipe on this blog.
Anyway, my now-husband and I spent an obscene amount of money on these bubble teas. Honeydew bubble teas in particular. So, so good. They were like $5 a pop and we were there multiple times a week. In retrospect, I’m not sure how we did this on a student budget. Maybe that’s why we still have student loans. But I digress… this post is about honeydew in the cocktail form and I’ll try to stick to the topic.
Honeydew is so refreshing and IMHO, it works so well with white rum. We made a few of these last weekend when the temps hit 80 around here. Perfection!
