For Father’s Day I did a Moscow Mule Themed Gift for the hubs. The DIY coasters I did for him were the feature of the gift, but I included two Moscow Mule mugs as well.
I love these mugs. I love that they’re copper (inspiring the copper lettering of the coasters) because they make any drink look fancy. (We admittedly cheat on moscow mules and use these mugs for all kinds of drinks). But I love a good Moscow Mule. I also love apple cider so figured why not marry the two? Such a good fall drink…
Ingredients:
4 oz. vodka (I used Buckeye Vodka, a hometown fave)
4 oz. apple cider (Trader Joe’s sells a Honeycrisp Apple Cider that is phenom.)
2-3 oz. ginger beer (Fentimans)
Lime wedge for garnish (it is a Moscow mule afterall!), optional
Apple slice for garnish
Cinnamon Stick for mixing + garnish
Fill a moscow mule mug with ice. Add vodka, and cider. Stir. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime wedge, apple slice, and cinnamon stick.

Cheers!
