Happy Friday friends. We’re introducing the first of our Friday cocktails series. Admittedly, we could likely use a cocktail before Friday, but every one’s looking for a good drink by the time Friday finally rolls around. So here you have it. This Friday and every Friday we intend to bring a good, solid libation for you to enjoy over your well deserved weekend…

This drink was inspired by a Tom Collins, one of my favorite summer indulgences. I love the sourness of a good Tom Collins. Fresh cherries, another one of my favorite summer treats when they’re in peak season, seemed like the perfect way to put a twist on a drink I love (most Tom Collins are topped with a maraschino cherry).
